The Matte Lip Collection has come and gone but surprisingly all of the lipsticks are still in stock. It's actually quite a breath of fresh air to see limited edition MAC collections stick around for longer than 5 minutes. Makes it easier to go back for seconds!

I think Nouvelle Vogue is a very wearable, daily shade. Le Vie En Rogue and Damn Gorgeous are two incredibly awesome bright shades, and Fashion Revival is a great deeper pink color. MAC Fashion Revival Lipstick ($17.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a 'deep raspberry.' It's a muted, medium-dark berry with cool undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had mostly opaque pigmentation with a lightly creamy texture that didn't tug, but it was firmer than Diva Antics.On me, the color lasted for five hours and was a smidgen drying.
The MAC Lip Collection featured 8 limited edition lipsticks but I only snatched up two of them. So far. At the moment, I have La Vie En Rouge and Fashion Revival. But now that I'm seeing more brown gal swatches I'm starting to have seconds thoughts about some shades I passed up. Like Pander Me and Nouvelle Vouge. They're looking mighty nice to me right now!
Karanyi sounds vapor keys kontakt. Not as good as these two beauties though! La Vie En Rouge and Fashion Revival are just gorgeous and totally my type of colors. La Vie En Rouge is a bright bold coral with a hint of pink. While Fashion Revival is a mid-tone berry that really steals the show! It's exactly what I was hoping Rihanna's Heaux lipstick would look like. I can't wait to try it on! If you haven't gotten your MAC matte lip fix then you need to run over to MAC and check them out!

This past fall MAC launched a limited edition matte lipstick collection, and I was able to get my hands on three shades. My favorite and most wearable shade from the three I picked up would have to be Fashion Revival. Unfortunately, it's not available anymore, but the color is just so beautiful that I had to do a similar lipstick colors/ dupes post for it. So, continue reading for some MAC Fashion Revival dupes.
Fashion Revival| This shade is a deep berry, more like a raspberry, shade that I think would look gorgeous on every skin tone. https://coolkfiles382.weebly.com/cookie-5-v5-9-9.html. Since it was a part of their matte lipstick collection it is supposed to have a matte finish, but I would say it is more like a semi-matte finish because it is not completely dry and it is quite creamy. The lipstick lasts about six to seven hours on my lips with minimal eating or drinking. However, once it fades it leaves a gorgeous deep pink raspberry shade so you'll still have some semblance of color left on your lips. It applies easily without any dragging, and is pretty opaque with just one application, but you can build up the opacity.
Mac Fashion Revival Swatch Colors
LBB| This Lippie Stix from ColourPop is the closest shade I could find to Fashion Revival (so far) and it is an almost exact dupe. It is described as a rich plum wine shade and I have to say it is a pretty spot on dupe that is a lot cheaper. If you can't find Fashion Revival or don't want to purchase an extremely marked up price on eBay, purchase LBB because it'll only cost you $5. I would say the only difference is that this lipstick is more saturated and has more pigmentation (if that is even possible!). Also, it is slightly more wine/red toned that Fashion Revival, but when you wear it on the lips you really cannot tell the difference! This also applies nicely without dragging and lasts around the same time on my lips since it is also a semi-matte formula (although it is a part of their matte line). You can build up the richness and opacity with this, but one application is opaque and extremely pigmented.
Bauhau5| This liquid lipstick from Kat Von D isn't an exact dupe for Fashion Revival, but it is pretty close. I would say this is the liquid lipstick version of it so if you're obsessed with liquid lipsticks and want a color similar to Fashion Revival, I would check this out. Again, this is a deep raspberry shade that is a bit more magenta in tone. I love Kat Von D liquid lipsticks because they are very pigmented, opaque, and extremely matte so if you're not into really matte lipsticks I wouldn't purchase this. https://gpcb.over-blog.com/2020/12/winimage.html. Bauhau5 lasts longer on me, around 10 hours, since it is completely matte, but it does feel drying on the lips- I mean it is a liquid lipstick! Kat Von D does have a normal lipstick version of this, but I don't have it (yet) so I can't say if it's a complete dupe for Fashion Revival.
